A Sort-Of Life Update

Hello, my dear!

It hath been a while since I've last made a post, a shop update, or anything pertaining to Heaven's Whimsy, really. I've had quite the busy holiday season with my day job, performances, family, and finding an injured kitten just before Christmas. It has been quite hectic to say the least.

Anyway...

Lately, I've been struggling with severe art block. I have been without inspiration since before Thanksgiving, and honestly, it's been draining to go and pick up that pencil, stylus, or pen and just draw. Nothing seems to ignite that same passion I had for art literally 2 months ago. I've been a dry well of ideas and it's taken a huge chunk of my confidence with it.

Unfortunately, I am a very impulsive person and I followed my impulsivity in to a new creative venture. I decided to start writing books on Thanksgiving. (Now I know why my art block began...) Anyway, I had been doing pretty well all through December with writing my first book and pretty much since the new year began, I've dried up there as well..

I haven't even done much and I'm already washed up.

Or so I think.

I know I'm just going through a temporary block of anything creative. Eventually it will come back and when it does, I shall be unstoppable until the next creative block hits. Hopefully, it doesn't hit until after I finish something.

In the meantime, I've decided to share my book progress here in my blog posts and talk more in depth about things about it than I do for Instagram or YouTube posts.
