Embarking on a New Journey: My YouTube Adventure with Heaven's Whimsy

Introduction to My YouTube Venture

Hey there, lovely friends! I’m excited to share that I’m diving into a new adventure—starting a YouTube channel to accompany my Heaven's Whimsy shop! It feels like the perfect time to expand my creative horizons, and I am thrilled to invite you all along for the ride. With studio vlogs and shorts on the menu, there's a whirlwind of creativity ahead!

Why YouTube?

So why did I choose YouTube as a platform? For one, it’s a fantastic space to showcase the behind-the-scenes magic of my shop. I want to bring everyone into my world—sharing my creative process, the ups and downs of running a small business, and of course, a sprinkle of inspiration. Plus, I believe that documenting this journey will keep me accountable and motivated. It’s easy to get lost in the details of building a shop, but sharing my progress in vlogs will help me stay focused.

Feelings of Excitement and Nervousness

Now, let’s talk about the feelings swirling in my stomach! I admit that I’m feeling quite excited, but I’m also a huge bowl of anxiousness. Stepping into the world of YouTube is both thrilling and nerve-wracking. I worry about how each video will turn out and if people will enjoy the content I create. But then again, every new venture comes with its fears and uncertainties, right? I know that there will always be haters and that whoever enjoys my work will actually want to stick around. But I'm not doing this to please people. Like I said, I'm doing this to keep myself accountable and motivated.

I am also freaking about the quality of my videos. I'm not tech savvy nor do I have much knowledge about video editing or content creation. I am literally learning as I go. When I have the time I absorb the knowledge I need like a sponge. But I don't have that much time to do that, hence the freaking out and worrying about the quality of my videos. I just know that what I produce is the best I can do until I improve on the next one.

I might be stretching myself thin, trying to juggle work, my extra curricular activities, domestic things, my shop and YouTube, but I strongly believe in taking risks and pushing my boundaries. After all, what's the point of growth without a few challenges? So, I’m hoping and praying that this journey will be filled with joy, learning, and perhaps even a few surprises along the way! "With God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26 NIV) and it's not in my strength that I do these things, It is through God's strength that I do these things and for His glory!

What to Expect from My Channel

As for what you can expect, I’ll be sharing a mix of studio vlogs and shorts that showcase the creative process in real-time. Every video will be a little snapshot of my day-to-day adventures, from crafting those unique pieces for Heaven's Whimsy to running the back end of the shop. My goal is to create relatable and inspiring content that gives you a taste of life behind the scenes. I want to foster a sense of community and connection through shared experiences and open conversations.
