Planning Boutique Products

Hello, my dear reader!

So, I'm getting ready to do another boutique vending event in November like I did last year. It's July 25th now which is why I'm getting things rolling. Time flies and before I know it, it will be time to be packing up the stuff and getting ready to go. I wanted to talk about the products I'm planning to make for this event. There are the die cut stickers, of course and bookmarks. But i have some new products in mind for it.

Coloring Page Packs

I was thinking how much I wanted to steer engagement with kids because often times they are the ones who want to buy the stickers at these pop up events. And what's another great product for kids' impulsive minds? Coloring!

I'm planning to illustrate a few coloring page designs, like 12-20 designs. Depends on how my imagination is and how much actual time I have to work on them. Anyway, I want to print them out on half sheets of paper so that I can create little bundles and then pack them together with a four pack crayon set.

I think that would make an excellent impulse buy for kids. Also, parents or grandparents can see them and think "oh, stocking stuffer".

I will make all of the coloring pages available for sale as digital downloads after the boutique. So not to worry, you will have your own pages to color if you want!

Hats

This is something I've been wanting to do for a while and only recently did I make enough extra income to get that ball rolling. If you follow me on YouTube there will be a video coming out where I share some of the progress on that front.

Anyway, I am planning to hand embroider them and sell the hats. I already have some designs I want to embroider and they are ready to go. I just need to get on it. I was also thinking of making fan hats as well. Lord, may it be Your will that Heaven's Whimsy grows enough to have a fanbase, amen. 🙏
The fan hats will consist of having the Heaven's Whimsy logo (dtf) along with the fandom name that I came up with: "whimsy crew".

I really am most excited about the hat products. Eventually the hats will be for sale on my website, but I want to wait until after the boutique before listing them on my website. Just in case I run out of inventory for any design.

Sticker Packs

These are very similar to my die cut stickers. The only difference is that I am going to be making sticker sets that are cohesive to a theme and them bundling them in to a mini pack. The die cut stickers are all sold individually and priced higher per sticker than the packs.

These products I'm a little more nervous about. It's all about the timing and how much I can actually get done by a week before the boutique. because that week I want to spend all my time printing and cutting.

I'm currently designing sticker sheets called "Nature's _____". There will be four different sticker sheets in the set. So I want to make some die cut sticker designs to go along with the theme.
There will be other design themes I will do. But since I illustrate them all myself, it will depend on how much time I have to do them.

Last Thoughts

I have big, fun, yet time consuming, plans for this event in November. I really should do more events... it would force me to make more products year round....

Anyway, I do have more ideas of products I want to make later on. I am looking into making washi tape, sticky note pads, note pads, and journals. But it costs money to make and right now, I'm not making enough to be able to try it all.
One thing at a time. This isn't a sprint, it's a marathon and I need to keep that in mind. I just get so excited to do things as soon as the idea hits.
